We are pleased to announce the upcoming Ninth Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD 9) scheduled for Wed. 20th - Fri. 22nd August , 2025 in Yokohama, Japan.
Established by Japan in 1993, TICAD is a premier international summit dedicated to African development. It serves as a vital platform bringing together African countries, Japan, co-organizers (the United Nations, UNDP, World Bank, African Union Commission - AUC), and a wide range of stakeholders.
TICAD 9 will focus on co-creating solutions for challenges facing Africa and the international community. The conference aims to strengthen cooperation with Africa, recognizing its growing global presence, to enhance inclusive and responsible global governance.
