Ambassador SUZUKI Hideo paid a courtesy call on Barrister Ezenwo Nyesom Wike, Honorable Minister FCT

On 24 March 2026, Ambassador SUZUKI Hideo paid a courtesy call on Barrister Ezenwo Nyesom Wike, Honorable Minister FCT and, together with Mr. Ishigame, Chief Representative of JICA Nigeria Office, exchanged views on the projects JICA is implementing within the FCT and on future new projects.
Mr. Ishigame outlined the new project plan aimed at improving residents’ quality of life, including the upgrading of access roads in Abuja, and Honorable Minister Wike expressed his high hopes for this initiative.
The Japanese Government clearly recognizes that the development of the capital, Abuja, is of vital importance to the nation as a whole and is committed to cooperating in Abuja’s sustainable development.
