Courtesy Call on the President of the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI)

On 6 March 2026, Ambassador SUZUKI Hideo paid a courtesy call on Mr. KUPOLUYI, President of the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), and exchanged views with LCCI executives on strengthening Japan-Nigeria economic relations, supporting the entry of Japanese companies into the Nigerian market, and expanding business opportunities.
During the meeting, both sides referred to LCCI’s continued support for the JETRO-organized Japan Pavilion at the Lagos International Trade Fair, as well as the Pavilion’s importance as a platform for showcasing the appeal of Japanese companies and products in Nigeria, and shared expectations for further deepening cooperation on the basis of this partnership.
