Handover Ceremony of the Elixir High-Tech Water Production Device at the Federal Medical Centre, Keffi

 
On 19 June 2025, Ambassador SUZUKI Hideo attended the handover ceremony of the Elixir High-Tech Water Production Device and advanced laboratory equipment at the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Keffi, Nasarawa State, funded under the Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects (GGP).

The ceremony was also attended by Dr Salahudeen JIMOH, Director, Hospital Services Department, Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare (representing the Minister of State for Health and Social Welfare); Alhaji Ibrahim DANLADI, (representing the Emir of Keffi); Mr. Ibrahim BALA (representing the Local Government Chairman); Dr. Yahaya Baba ADAMU, Chief Medical Director, Federal Medical Centre, Keffi, Nasarawa; Mr. Yusuf SULAIMAN, Executive Director, Center for Development & Partnership (CEDEP); members of FMC staff and the press.
 
In his keynote address, the Ambassador emphasized the commissioning of the device as a key milestone in Japan-Nigeria bilateral relations. He praised the Atmospheric Water-Generated Elixir Device as a vital solution to the water needs of healthcare institutions and encouraged the hospital management to maximize its use for improving patient care and operational efficiency.
